Artemis II to the Moon and back

No F1 races this month thanks to the situation in the Middle East. Luckily for humanity there was something incredible to witness over the past 10 days as the Artemis II crew flew to the Moon and beyond and returned to Earth.
As I write this Integrity is minutes away from re-entry to the Earth’s atmosphere and splashdown in the Pacific Ocean near San Diego. Edit: they returned safely.
The Moon has always intrigued me and watching Neil Armstrong take that ‘One small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind’ is one of those memories that pops up as a reminder that we are all just a little speck on the blue dot.
I chose blue for the colours of this piece at the beginning of the week and realise now that it is the perfect illustration of the blue of the Earth, the colour of the ocean and the manner in which everything is intertwined, pushing and pulling in unison and sometimes with strong currents against.
In times like this we look to leaders with integrity and nurturing properties like the original Artemis. Ad astra.
